Cooperman & Co. Interiors is luxury full-service interior design firm.

This means that our process is comprehensive, and we guide each project from its initial concept through its final installation. Whether the project is a transformative renovation or new construction, our design team presents concepts & mood boards, sources & purchases every material, provides detailed quotes & budgets, solicits bids & coordinates subcontractors, and prepares floor plans & work order sets. This ensures that the end result delivers on our shared vision for a space that is both timeless and uniquely yours.

01. Foundation Phase

We begin by learning about you - your lifestyle, vision, routines, and design goals. Through our detailed questionnaire, we gather insight that becomes the foundation for every design decision. Next, we’ll conduct a site survey, during which we take dimensions of each space, note every architectural detail, and photograph the space to ensure all data is captured up front before design begins. Lastly, we’ll collect inspiration - a mix of images, material, and concepts while concurrently creating the first set up floor plans. Together, these components comprise the first look at your project’s aesthetic direction.

02. Conceptual Design

This is the phase where we translate everything learned in the Foundation Phase into aesthetic direction. We explore palettes, patterns, textures, and materials to define the overall tone of your home. Layouts are drafted to ensure your space flows with ease, comfort, and functionality, and every room begins to thoughtfully & purposefully take shape. From tile and textiles to lighting and cabinetry profiles, we curate elements that serve to support the design vision and guide pricing & trade coordination.

03. Design Development

Design Development is where the concept truly takes shape. We refine layouts, selections, and custom details - moving from inspiration to fully considered design decisions. Every element is evaluated together: materials, finishes, proportions, and function, so that the design feels cohesive, intentional, and aligned with your lifestyle. This phase ensures nothing is left to chance. Each decision supports the overall aesthetic and respects budget, timeline, and livability. By the end of this phase, the design is clear, resolved, and ready to be documented - setting the stage for seamless execution.

04. Construction Documentation

This is the phase where we translate your fully-developed design into clear, detailed drawings and specifications - the documents that guide your build team. We prepare elevations, sections, millwork drawings, finish schedules, and technical notes - every detail required to bring your home to life accurately. Precise documentation ensures that contractors know exactly how each element should look, function, and be installed. With Construction Documentation complete, your project moves forward with clarity, direction, and confidence, aided by a fully coordinated roadmap for the build ahead.
