Responsibilities
Set and manage project schedules, identifying milestones, critical paths & project needs
Proactively problem-solve potential issues and implement solutions while documenting & communicating decisions to all affected parties
Balance creative vision with logistical execution, ensuring C&Co.’s clients’ dreams become a reality in a way that is effective, efficient, and fun
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize, delegate & assign individual tasks according to project deadlines
Develop budgets based on project scope and regularly report on progress while identifying financial constraints before they occur
Meet contractors, tradespeople, and builders on-site, translating discussion items into actionable tasks
Source and manage vendors based on project scope and needs
Create cohesion and consistency between internal systems and team members, ensuring that all details are properly translated and communicated between designers, drafters, and the procurement team
Provide support to the Principal Designer, assisting with material selections, product research & site surveys
Provide support to the Procurement Team, assisting with sourcing, quoting, and ordering furniture, fixtures and finishes
Qualifications
Exceptional communication, internally and externally, including the ability to deftly navigate challenging situations
Strong managerial skills, decision-making abilities, resourcefulness, and initiative
A deep understanding of construction documentation, building plans & building materials
Technical proficiency in project management software or the ability to learn
A minimum of four years experience in project management, architecture, construction, or related field
Details
This is a full-time position, structured as a 1099 contractor for the first 90 days and a W2 employee thereafter; full-time positions are expected to work between 35 and 40 hours per week in order to be eligible for perks
The Project Manager’s regular schedule will be Monday through Friday, approximately 9am to 5pm, with a minimum of three days per week in office and flexibility to work from home as project schedules allow
