Responsibilities

  • Set and manage project schedules, identifying milestones, critical paths & project needs

  • Proactively problem-solve potential issues and implement solutions while documenting & communicating decisions to all affected parties

  • Balance creative vision with logistical execution, ensuring C&Co.’s clients’ dreams become a reality in a way that is effective, efficient, and fun

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize, delegate & assign individual tasks according to project deadlines

  • Develop budgets based on project scope and regularly report on progress while identifying financial constraints before they occur

  • Meet contractors, tradespeople, and builders on-site, translating discussion items into actionable tasks

  • Source and manage vendors based on project scope and needs

  • Create cohesion and consistency between internal systems and team members, ensuring that all details are properly translated and communicated between designers, drafters, and the procurement team

  • Provide support to the Principal Designer, assisting with material selections, product research & site surveys

  • Provide support to the Procurement Team, assisting with sourcing, quoting, and ordering furniture, fixtures and finishes

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication, internally and externally, including the ability to deftly navigate challenging situations

  • Strong managerial skills, decision-making abilities, resourcefulness, and initiative

  • A deep understanding of construction documentation, building plans & building materials

  • Technical proficiency in project management software or the ability to learn

  • A minimum of four years experience in project management, architecture, construction, or related field

Details

  • This is a full-time position, structured as a 1099 contractor for the first 90 days and a W2 employee thereafter; full-time positions are expected to work between 35 and 40 hours per week in order to be eligible for perks

  • The Project Manager’s regular schedule will be Monday through Friday, approximately 9am to 5pm, with a minimum of three days per week in office and flexibility to work from home as project schedules allow
